Casa Tira House Rules

By booking with us, the following House Rules are understood, accepted and adhered to by all guests at Casa Tira.

Quiet Hours & Events:

1. Quiet Time is from 10pm to 8am, please be respectful and consider our neighbors.

2. Events: No parties, events, commercial photography, or filming without prior written consent. No external sound equipment to be brought into the property without prior written consent.

Cleanliness & Care:

3. Waste Management: Do not flush toilet paper or sanitary products, use the bins provided. Blockages will be charged.

4. Laundry Care: Avoid staining sheets and towels with makeup or tanning products. Use black towels for makeup removal. Stains will incur charges.

5. Smoking: Smoking is prohibited indoors. Use ashtrays for disposing of cigarette butts. Illegal substances are prohibited.

6. Dining: Consume food and beverages in designated areas, not in bedrooms. 

Property Access & Security:

7. Keys: Always place the keys in the lockbox when leaving. Lost keys have a charge of $350 USD.

8. Secure Premises: Always lock doors and windows, especially at night. Do not share lockbox or entry codes with anyone. 

9. Safety: Walkways, balconies, and other areas may be slippery when wet. Exercise caution, and immediately report any safety concerns.

Accommodation & Visitors:

10. Capacity: Casa Tira sleeps a maximum of 16 guests.

11. Visitor Registration: If you have visitors, please let us know. Unregistered visitors are not permitted on the property.

Damage:

12. Security Deposit: A refundable damage deposit of $1,500 USD will be processed by Stripe a day before check-in. Post-checkout, any damage costs will be deducted, and the balance refunded. If costs exceed the security deposit, guests are responsible for payment.

13. Immediate Reporting: Damages must be reported immediately so that necessary repairs/replacement can be arranged.

Environment & Local Conditions:

14. Be Eco-conscious: Turn off lights, A/C, and fans when leaving your room.

15. Tulum's Infrastructure: Service interruptions (electricity, water, internet) might occur due to weather or municipal maintenance. These situations are considered normal in Tulum and not indicative of negligence. Please inform our team of any utility failures.

16. Outdoor Considerations: Despite regular cleaning, outdoor pools and jacuzzis might have natural debris. It's common to see insects and wildlife outdoors, please be aware of your surroundings at all times.

Additional Information:

17. Construction Noise: Tulum is rapidly expanding and you might hear construction. Typical hours are from 9am to 5pm, sometimes extended to 8am-6pm, Mon-Sat. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these times.

18. Sundays: Our cleaning team does not work on Sundays. For Sunday cleaning, book 24 hours in advance, at a cost of 1,000 Mexican Pesos ($60 USD) payable in cash.

19. Privacy: Respect all locked areas and do not attempt access.

20. Pets: Please do not feed the fish.

21. You agree to communicate solely within the WhatsApp group or booking platform (e.g. Airbnb) and to not message members of the Casa Tira team privately. This is to ensure your queries are resolved efficiently by our team.

22. Reviews: We are proud of our 100% 5-star review record and welcome 5 star reviews. Please raise any issues to our team for resolution prior to leaving a review. Note that our Concierge's recommended service providers are independent and beyond our control, and should not affect your review of Casa Tira.
